If you were in London on Monday you may have spotted two gun-wielding women causing quite a commotion in front of intrigued onlookers.
There was no need to panic though – this wasn’t some sort of terrifying crisis! The stunt was all in aid of promoting the DVD release of film Bring Me the Head of the Machine Gun Woman – and the guns weren’t real either of course!
The models dressed as the Machine Gun Woman invaded offices of some of the most popular lads’ mags (Nuts, ZOO, FHM and Loaded) and handed out bottles of beer to accompany drinkstuff’s very own Machine Gun Glass – a large novelty drinking glass, modelled on a classic 1921A1 machine gun.
Later that day, the Machine Gun Women took over Leicester Square, drawing a lot of attention from the crowds who were all eager to get their photo taken with the two models (Scarlet Bouvier and Monica Harris) who were firing out branded t-shirts with their t-shirt guns.
All of this was to celebrate the release of Bring Me the Head of the Machine Gun Woman which is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download.
