Slate platters and appetiser sets featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch

During the latest episode of popular cookery chat show Sunday Brunch on Channel 4, Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were joined by cheese expert Jerome Tabarie to discuss summer cheese – primarily the combination of cheese and herbs!

The various cheesey offerings were displayed on stylish slates and white circular & square appetiser bowls.

Alta Nepita

This corsican cheese (made of yews milk and covered in herbs), was served up on a rectangular slate, which you can easily recreate with our Utopia Mineral Collection Large Rectangular Slate Platter 22 x 30cm or our Frostone Melamine Display Tray Black 20.75 x 12.75inch

Round slate

Also on offer was some Artisan freshly curdled cheese which was moulded into bite-size morsels, ready to be dipped into various sweet and savoury coatings!

This was placed onto a circular slate, much like our  Utopia Mineral Collection Round Slate Platter 30cm or Slate Round Plate 34cm.

As demonstrated on the show, different flavoursome coatings can be served up in the small bowls from the Little Treasures Thirteen Piece Appetiser Gift Set – perfect for giving guests the option of having a sweet or savoury cheese treat!
