A Crusta is a type of mixed drink which was invented in New Orleans in the 1800s. It was traditionally made using brandy, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur and Cointreau, but is also commonly served with bourbon, gin or rum instead of brandy. It is usually served in a stemmed cocktail glass with a sugar coated glass rim and long lemon peel spiral.
