Glossary of Terms
A jug (also called a pitcher) is a large container for liquid and features a pouring spout and nearly always a handle. A jug is usually made from glass, plastic, metal or ceramic and it's most common use is for filling with a cold beverage which is then poured into a glass. Jugs come in a range of sizes and are most popularly used for containing water, milk, beer or cocktails.
