Glossary of Terms
A margarita is a type of cocktail which contains tequila, orange liqueur (such as Cointreau) and lime or lemon juice. It is usually served in its own glass; the margarita glass which is a stemmed coupe style glass with a wide rim, which is coated with sugar or salt before serving. A margarita can be served shaken with ice, on the rocks, blended with ice or straight up. Variations of the margarita include the Strawberry Margarita, Chocolate Margarita and Blue Margarita.
