Glossary of Terms

Sherry is a type of fortified wine made on the Mediterranean coast of Spain from palomino white grapes. Sherry has two main production processes; fino which is dry and light, and oloroso sherry which is darker and sweet. Sherry is most commonly enjoyed as an after dinner drink, neat in a copita glass, which is a stemmed tulip shaped glass.
