A shot glass is a small glass, typically holding a single or double shot (1oz to 2oz). A shot glass is usually made from glass or plastic and styled like a miniature tumbler glass, although many novelty shapes are also popular. A shot glass, sometimes also referred to as a shooter, is most commonly used for serving spirits and liqueurs, but is also becoming a popular way to present food such as desserts.
