How can I pay for an order?

You must pay for your order before it is dispatched (except account customers) and you can do this by:

Credit/Debit Card: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Switch, Solo, Eurocard or JCB. We aim to debit money from your account within two working days after receiving your order however this can depend on your service provider. Please note: If the order is of high value we may ask for payment by bank transfer for security reasons.

PayPal / PayPal Express: Payment method available through website only.

Google Checkout: Payment method available through website only.

BACS/CHAPS: Payment transfers for higher value orders (You will be responsible for all charges).

Cheque/Postal Order: Cheque/Postal orders are only accepted for orders over £50 and need to be made out to Barmans Ltd. These are only accepted from customers inside the UK. If you are paying by cheque/postal order, please fill out the following Order form and send it in with your cheque or postal order.

We use the Transax service, from Certegy Limited, to provide a warranty to your cheque.

Certegy will record information in relation to any cheque they are asked to warrant and will use it to decide whether to warrant future cheques where a subscribing organisation requests this service from Certegy to help it decide whether to accept a cheque as payment. If your cheque is subsequently returned unpaid, we will inform Certegy and also provide them with any information we hold (including your name and address). We may assign our rights to collect a debt to Certegy. Certegy will use personal data about you (or information about your company) in order to enable them to collect a debt and may carry out a credit check where they deem it necessary to facilitate collection. Certegy will charge you an administration fee for the collection of a dishonoured cheque. If you have any questions about the personal information held by Certegy that relates to you, or for details of the Credit Reference Agency they use, or information relating to anything else in this notice, please phone 0845 3133352.

Please note: For all of the above payment methods we need the correct billing address (this is the address where your payment account is registered) but any invoices/dispatch notes will be sent with the order to the delivery address provided. Failure to provide the correct information may delay dispatch of your order.

Do you accept purchase orders?

We do accept purchase orders but only offer 30 day accounts to Government bodies. All other customers will need to pay before we can dispatch the goods. Where necessary we can offer a proforma invoice.

Do you offer credit accounts?

Normally, all orders will need to be paid in full before dispatch. To be considered for a credit account you will need to have been purchasing from us regularly for at least a year and be able to supply trade references. We can offer accounts to Government bodies providing a purchase order is supplied.

Do your prices include or exclude VAT?

All prices on drinkstuff.com are inclusive of VAT.

Do you offer finance?

We do not currently offer any form of finance. For cinema seating it may be possible to pay a deposit to hold stock until you are ready to take delivery of your order but full payment would need to be received before dispatch.

My payment has declined. What should I do?

Should your payment decline we recommend double checking all the details entered to make sure these were correct as often a typing error can be the cause. If they were correct you will need to contact your card issuer to find out the reasons for this.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept all currencies when paying by card providing you are using a card issuer we use. Currently we can only display prices in Sterling (£), Euro (€) or USD ($) on the website. To view prices on our website in these currencies simply click the appropriate "flag" at the top right of the webpage.

When will payment be taken from my account?

Payment is taken as soon as the order has been placed. This applies for all orders, including pre-orders and direct delivery orders. This allows for us to reserve your stock, check the validity of your payment and dispatch the order as soon as possible.

I am VAT exempt. How do I remove the VAT?

If you have a registered VAT number you will need to provide us with this before you place your order. You can do this by contacting us. Once we have your VAT number on your account any further orders you place online will have the VAT automatically removed.

I have credit on my account. How can I redeem this?

On the final page before payment you will be asked if you would like to use any credit on this order. You can choose to do this or to leave the credit for a future order. Credit doesn't expire.

Do you price match?

We do have a price match policy. We can price match an item providing:

  • It is not from an auction website
  • The item is new, unused and not damaged
  • It is identical to our product
  • The delivery charges are the equivalent of ours

You will need to contact us to arrange a price match on an item. Price match is only available up until the time of purchase and is at the sole discretion of drinkstuff.
