My name is Steve Kennedy. I live in Bristol, Rhode Island USA. I
thought I was the only one who had a mad obsession with decorating my
home bar. That's until is saw pictures on your site. So I thought I would
send you some pictures of my bar. I have everything from a lit glass
display bar with taps and church keys. a Coors life guards chair. a
samual Adams beer basketball net in the bath room so you can take a few
shots while your on the can.I have been adding thing for about 2 years.
Everything needs to be rearranged.when I find the time.  Thanks, Steve.

Well here's my bar... anyone else got one like this? I inherited the bar and stools then made use of this corner in my living room which already had the alcoves in the wall and a fluorescent tube in the ceiling... This bar has been in my family for about 20 years. It came from South Africa and was hand carved. Only just started doing it up like a bar now but my favourite latest addition has to be my UV fluorescent tube above the bar available in the UK from 'JJS Online' which I found whilst looking for some lighting effects. The picture doesn't do it any justice because UV light and Camera's don't really mix but you can imagine the full effect. The BAR sign was done by myself in Photoshop at work and was designed to glow as it well does. Everything white in the room glows... I even have a small EXIT sign above my living room door, which also glows in the UV. All I need now is some alcohol in those empty bottles, a cash register, a licence and some friends to extort :O) Cheers Andrew - Scotland

Drinking Obsessions
Is this picture good enough proof that drinking at home is becoming more popular? Considering a pint of beer in most local UK pubs is now over £2 a pint, paying less than £15 for a crate of 24 Heineken and inviting all your friends round for a good old session sounds like a better bet! Many thanks to Mark Hetherington of Tyne & Wear for sending in this photo of his (well stocked with our paraphernalia) bar called 'Black Jacks'

"The bar was my winter project. I built it as I  thought of things.  Ideas
were all put together by looking at different web sites. Its all wood with a
red oak top. All material except the bar stools, were purchased from a local
material supply store (Home Depot). The walls and bar front are Norway pine"
