"Great item. Buy two!"
Alistair Cain - Berkshire, 28th April
"Excellent product(s) for the money. Nice sturdy build, good seal between the two halves, easy to clean, just works."
Ben Turk - Surrey, 22nd January
"Glass is nice and heavy but the shaker looks and feels a bit cheap. The picture shows how the shaker has been made in two pieces and it's this construction that lets it down. The finish between the base and the sides isn't great."
Doug - London, 15th January
"Nothing much to say, aside from the fact that it does exactly what you need it to do - good seal for shaking, high quality metal and glass that doesn't mark and feels good in your hands. It's not expensive, and should last a lifetime. Just make sure that you check out a few YouTube videos to learn how to separate the glass from the tin - a simple technique gets them apart with minimal effort, unlike my first attempt that nearly had me throwing its contents across the room!"
Bruce Claassen - London, 9th January

"Good price for this professional boston shaker!"
Hervé - France, 17th July '12
"Great value for money and excellent quality!"
Rebecca Parker - Scotland, 28th May '12
"This was just like the one I used on my cocktail making course so was excited to try it out as soon as I'd bought all my ingredients! Pleased to say it was just as sturdy as the one used on training and a good price too. So much better than those all in one plastic things you get in the shops. These professional shakers are a must for any discerning cocktail enthusiast."
Katie Sayce - Milton Keynes, 18th March '12
"Well priced, item arrived very quickly and the order was correct. The cocktail shaker is easy and fun to use, my only complaint would be that as there is no pouring lip the drink runs down the shaker and drips onto the floor so it can be a bit messy or it could be me using it wrong after a few too many drinks, but we are very pleased with it!"
Sam Bradley - Staffordshire, 6th March '12
Drinkstuff says: Many thanks for your review Sam. Boston tins are commonly used with a
cocktail strainer; as well as filtering out any lumps, the strainer also helps restrict the amount pouring out of the tin which should help you pour more easily.
"I recommend this Shakers, nice product and great quality."
Miguel Correia - Portugal, 9th November '11
"Now I can pretend I am a professional. Easy to use, and good fit between the glass and the shaker."
Michael Joyce - Redhill, 30th August '11

"Broke my original Boston glass (it falling 4 feet off a counter I bear it no malice for smashing - but note; not shattering). So ordered a couple as back up. At this price it's ridiculous to order just one!
Great product, speedy delivery. All on all fantastic."
David Swain - Harrow, 13th August '11
"Great item."
Mariusz - Leeds, 20th July '11

Ryan - Stone, 21st March '11
"Great shaker! We use a lot of these at work and they do the job just as they should :-)
Only issue for me is that they're not weighted! Which, if you don't flair doesn't make a difference!
I think you do need to stock a regular weighted shaker Drinkstuff!!"
Matt - Rochdale, UK, 7th July '10
Drinkstuff says: Many thanks for your review Matt. Our Professional Boston Cocktail Shaker tins feature a reinforced base which classes them as a weighted shaker.
"THE perfect shaker. Robust, watertight, easy to handle."

Michael Ellison - Newcastle, 13th September '09
"Being keen to try new drinks, I have been into making cocktail for some time now. I have used a few different shakers, but this one without a doubt, is one of the best. The extra room means adding fruit to an already large mix is no problem. Also with the super fast delivery, I'll be using drinksuff again in the future. Thanks again."
Joe Taylor - East Yorkshire, 7th September '09
"This is the only cocktail shaker you'll ever need. Takes a bit of practice to get the tin and glass apart once you've finished shaking, but once you get the knack it's not a problem. If you're worried about ending up with more of your cocktail on the floor than in the shaker, then don't - once fitted together it forms a tight seal and I've experienced no leakage whatsoever. Don't forget to
buy a Hawthorne Strainer to go with it though, otherwise you'll be fishing lumps of ice out of your cocktail with a spoon!"
Stuart - Dartmouth, 20th August '09
"This order was fantastic. It's just what I had been looking for as a present for a friend of mine. It is of a very high quality and was well packaged when it was delivered. It was sent very quickly from ordering to it being delivered."

"Solid and professional looking. This is the business."
Phil Poole - Streetly, 31st March '09
"Feels a lot more professional than using the 3-piece shaker, and the cost is well worth the value."
JayL - London, 10th January '09
"A fantastic cocktail shaker at a great price. I bought this to replace a metal topped "traditional" shaker that I used for making cocktails at various parties and social gatherings that leaked every time. Despite having no rubber seal, this Boston shaker doesn't spill a drop, looks professional and feels great in the hands. Great product - would recommend."
Simon Ordish - Benson, Wallingford, 5th January '09

Drinkstuff says: Dave, thank you for this and your five other product reviews! As a thank you, we have awarded you with 10 Drinkstuff credits, equivalent to £10 off your next order!"

Donna - S. Wales, 3rd September '07
"Great shaker, really good quality, already dropped it numerous times!
For would-be flairers - the tin isn't weighted, you can still flair with it, I just thought you ought to know.
Mine arrived very promptly (well, fairly promptly, considering there was a postal strike on!) and in perfect condition."
Louis - Edinburgh, 17th August '07

ben green - uk, 11th September '06
"Recived it in excellent condition. Also think it could have been improved by offering a gift wrapping service for this item.
drinkstuff says: Unfortunately we can only gift-wrap items which are already in boxes or are angular-shaped. As this cocktail shaker fits into none of the above then it cannot be wrapped, sorry."
Laura - Sunderland, 2nd January '06
