"The last reviewer reminded me of the old joke 'man goes to the doctor and says every time he takes a drink of tea he gets a pain in the eye, the doctor tells him to remove the spoon from his cup'.
Normaly I would advocate washing the spoon up, but at work our tea club sits on a small fridge, no sink, so spoons are left untill we run out of clean ones or the end of the day when the mugs are washed. I know, IKE IKE!"

"What the hell is this required for? Why would I want a spoon permanently in my glass?
drinkstuff says: Although it would seem this spoon is designed to be placed in your glass or mug permanently it's actually for storing when not drinking from the glass or mug, to prevent spillages on table tops, kitchen surfaces and other places where tea and coffee stains are difficult to remove. But better yet the spoon looks so cool compared to normal plain spoons!"
