Making cocktails is an unrecognised art; you have to get all the ingredients at the right quantities, or your drink is ruined. More than just sticking a slice of lemon on the side of your glass, true garnishes involve various fruits, herbs and spices.

A Wooden Muddler is a highly important tool when getting stuck in to advanced drink mixing. Simply chucking leaves of mint and lumps of ginger will leave you with a flavourless drink. With a muddler you crush your hard ingredients before application to help release the flavours and give yourself a much better drink experience!

Customer Reviews
Looks The Part And Does The Job
"Nicely coloured, a good length to reach the bottom of a glass or shaker and makes short work of anything needing crushed. It's probably not as effective or durable as a metal counterpart but the wooden character more than makes up for it for me."
Matt - Southampton, 21st January '15
Great For Mojitos!
"Looks professional and easy to use."
Caitlin - Cambridge, 5th January '15
Does What It Says
"Simple and cheap, can't ask for anything more :)"
Simon - Manchester, 28th May '14
5 stars
"This item arrived quickly and the assistance when ordering it was very helpful and polite."
Rebecca Shone - Pontefract, 28th March '11
Wooden Muddler
"Essential to create the perfect Mojito cocktail! Extracts all the lime juice really well - extra tip... roll the limes in the palm of your hand for ten seconds before cutting up into quarters.
Don't forget to add the mint leaves for the finishing touch, available from every good supermarket too."
Ste Kitchen - Tottington, 2nd January '11

"Good product, nice and cheap :)"
Julie - London, 15th December '10

"Item as described and does the job."
Vicky Johnson - North East Lincolnshire, 28th November '10
Mighty Muddler
"Just right for smashing the juice out of fruit before addition to bring out the flavours in your liquid concoction."
Sue Partridge - West Midlands, 21st September '10
5 stars
"A little smaller than expected but fits neatly into all the glasses I like to muddle in. Easy to clean and looks the part."
Simon Paulton - St. Andrews, 6th April '10
Drinkstuff says: Many thanks for your review Simon. As a thank you we've added 5 points to your Drinkstuff account, which is equivalent to £5 off your next order!
Muddler
"Great value for money and totally did what it said it would. We created brilliant Mojitos, and a great evening was had by all."
Karen Pearson - Isle of Man, 26th January '10
Muddler
"A little over priced for a piece of wood and a tad too small for muddling large amounts of fruit etc. Did the job though."
Dan Troll - Surrey, 18th January '10
Wooden Muddler
"Was going to buy the more expensive one but this wooden one does the job for a fraction of the price. It's especially good for non-metal cocktail shakers and is lightweight and comfortable."
Ros Regis - London, 27th October '09
Cheap and practical
"Cheap, useful to have, efficient, and easy to clean. What more?"
Denis Rocca - Lyon, France, 17th August '09
Just like Ronseal - does exactly what it says on the tin!
"Lovely little muddler, that, with the right amount of mint, lime rings and sugar syrup, makes an incredible-smelling glass. Add some rum, soda water, etc, and you'll feel like a real barman, complete with a mojito. Mmm, mojitos...

Anyway, yes... nice and sturdy, smashes things together... I really don't know what else there is to say about it!

Oh, yes, and it's not too expensive, so I'm a happy chappy. Yay!"
Will Scanlan - Sunderland, 13th August '09
Drinkstuff says: Thank you for your comments Will. To show our appreciation, we have added 3 drinkstuff credits to your account, equivalent to £3 off your next order.
Everyone needs a muddler
"You can't go wrong with this muddler. It's wood, so you can be quite vigorous when crushing lime wedges, and it's long enough to reach the bottom of most glasses. Well worth its small price tag."
Stuart - Dartmouth, 4th August '09
5 stars
"Essential tool. Every home and bar needs one. Makes the perfect Mojito and Cairpirinha."
Martin Redman - Surrey, 22nd June '09
"The traditional appearance makes it look like something you would want to use to make the perfect Mojito."
YL - sunderland, 1st November '08
"A basic muddler. Good value and works well. This is a varnished model however and you run the risk of the varnish wearing (into your drink??). Would have preferred a non-varnished muddler - but no complaints for the price.

Drinkstuff says: Thank you for your comments Dan. We have taken your points into consideration and are currently looking at expanding our range of muddlers."
Dan - Edinburgh, 11th February '08
"I bought a cocktail muddler. Just the job!"
Lewis - Birmingham, 15th October '07
"A must for any budding Cocktail King. I used mine at a recent house party, for creating Mojito's.

This particular wooden pestle, is a good size and squidged my mint leaves, sugar, rasberries and lime juice perfectly."
Bradley Wilkinson - Manchester, 31st July '07
"Nice , small , handy muddler. Perfectly suitable for women, as it is really really light. Prefer bigger and heavier ones, but that's just my opinion."
Jakub - North West London, 25th June '07
"Belting bit of kit, can't complain at all for the price."
dan - leeds, 13th April '07
"Making a Mojito is simple now! I can't believe the stuff I used to try to mash up my mint with, how very embarassing!"
Rebecca Adams - Leeds, 21st March '07
"Brilliant muddler, made many a mojito since i got it the other day. Top product, quick delivery, happy drunken days ahead!!!"
DANIEL CHAPMAN - Ashford, Middlesex, 29th August '06
"Used to make fantastic mojitos but shouldn't be put in the dishwasher."
Andy Scholes - Gipsy Hill, 28th April '06
"Does what you would expect of a muddler - it muddles! Limes are pulped and with sugar added it creates the perfect base for a Caiparinia"
Chris - Brighton, 20th March '06
"great for crushing fruit etc and so really making my cocktails look professional, the only thing with it though, playing for the local rounders side....I keep missing the ball! Doh!!

He he he he he!!"
Lee - Newhaven, 13th June '03
