"Used for Pimms and Lemonade at a recent open gardens event, the compost ability was a great taking point. Durable stylish and the 10 floz size worked out well for Pimms. I was worried because we loaded the cups with fruit hours before the event but it did not effect them.Infact after the event a neighbour took them home washed them in warm soapy water, rinsed and dried them and they still were sturdy enough to use at her BBQ the following week."

Drinkstuff says: Thank you for your comment. We are proud to be a pioneer of these fantastic 100% biodegradable cups. We've added ??
5 points to your account for redemption on a future order. It is fantastic to hear that these diposable cups are durable enough to be reused.
"I ordered these for a party and was more than satisfied. We wanted the convenience of plastic (no washing up) but wanted to be mindful of the environment too. These fitted the bill perfectly. They can be washed up (although whether they turn into mush we'll have to wait and see) but just being able to lob them into the compost is great. They proved a real talking point too. I'll definitely get them again when the need arises."

"I ordered the "I am not a plastic cup" cups for my husband's 40th birthday surprise party. Everyone thought it was a thoroughly great idea to get blatted whilst being kind to the environment and made an extra effort to recyc their tinnies too. They arrived in good time too ... hoorah! :)"

"First saw the biodegradable pint glasses in use by Marstons at the Cardiff test match. I thought they were a brilliant idea so I have now bought them for use at home BBQ's etc for which they are great, and not overly expensive. I'm now interested to see how quickly they degrade in my composter. Supplier service and contact was great - goods arrived 2 days after order placed."

Drinkstuff says: Thank you for your comments Brian. The Biopac pint glasses are made from cornstarch. This is a biodegradable material which breaks down under composting conditions within a given time scale. This compostable product can break down in as little as 12 weeks in the right environment!
"CAREFUL - they shrivel up and leak when you pout hot liquid in them!!!
Drinkstuff says: Thank you for your order and review Steve, we apologise you are unhappy with the disposable glasses. Unfortunately there are no disposable glasses produced which are suitable for hot liquid, even standard plastic will be 'softened' by hot water. For hot liquid you would need to use reusable plastic glasses or polystyrene cups. "
