The way in which we listen to music has changed many times over the years.
Early introductions to different styles of music would be influenced by listening to a jukebox in a bar or cafe. Traditional jukeboxes, especially designs of the 40's and 50's, were pure works of art looking just as good as they sounded. Today with the emergence of new technologies a multitude of music and video options are available, yet one product above all has completely revolutionised the way we listen to and view our favorite tracks...The iPod. In recognition and celebration of this Sound Leisure is proud to present the Xi and Melody-i jukeboxes built specifically with the iPod in mind. Two iconic designs spanning decades, merged to produce the ultimate music delivery system.
The Melody-i's impact is immediate with its vibrant colours and powerful sound.
Based on a slim line CD jukebox, the cabinet offers a compact solution. It may be a small in size but has a hypnotic presence that refuses to shy into the background. The iPod range is meant to be seen and most definitely heard. Proudly built to the highest standards in the UK by experienced craftsmen, the Melody-i are the classic jukeboxes of the future.
With the iPod range, future and past blend seamlessly together to produce a unique and individual solution.
Quality
The bubble tube protective casing is made from the same polycarbonate as riot shields used by police woldwide.
The solid aluminium castings are copper/nickel and chrome plated, not the cheap sprayed plastic versions used by other manufacturers. This not only makes them hard wearing but also ensures the door assembly remains structurally sound, just like the originals.
The jukebox back cabinet shells are formed from one wooden component. This makes them extremely strong and durable as there are no 'manufactured' weak areas. Cheap and easy but not good enough for a Classic Jukebox.
Remote Control and Selection Card Display Booklet
A remote control and selection card display booklet are standard on all products. The remote allows you to control your Classic Jukebox from the comfort of your arm chair. You can utilise all the features of your jukebox including track and disk selection, random play facility, full album play, reject and volume.
The Selection card booklet displays 80 CD title cards along with matching CD covers. Each position is numbered to follow the rotating card display on your jukebox.
This combination provides an attractive visual aid to making track selections and controlling your Classic Jukebox.
