When you've had an alarm clock for a number of years, you begin to get used to the sound of the beeping, clanging or whooping, and it just becomes part of your sleep pattern. It's no good if you can't wake up in the morning - people are depending on you! Whether you've got a job to get to, or a lecture to attend, you've got to wake up!

When the alarm goes off, a countdown begins - "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."
After the countdown, the rocket mounted to the top of the clock fires a couple of feet into the air and lands somewhere in your bedroom. Now your mission begins, as the only way you can stop the alarm from sounding is by dragging yourself into consciousness, getting out of bed, and finding that darned rocket!
By the time you've found the rocket and put it back into it's launch pad to stop the alarm, you'll be up and awake, ready to jump in the shower, or grab a cup of coffee!

"It does what it says on the tin. However, the description gave the impression of a louder than usual alarm, but we don't reckon it is any louder than average. It also says it comes with batteries, which it does, but not the 4 AAA ones required for the rocket launch. Very disappointing as it was a birthday present given at night.
