Course Overview:
An exciting introduction to the world of cocktails, providing a practical foundation in the mechanics of mixology and cocktail preparation at work and home. You learn methods of cocktail preparation building a drink, stirring, shaking, layering, muddling, straining, smashing…oh and drinking. You will prepare and make a range of classic and contemporary cocktails including: Collins, Sours, Mojitos, Martinis etc. A fun afternoon for everyone involved.

A Highly Entertaining And Sociable Event!
"I had a great time at this course and I didn't even mind having to travel all the way from Portsmouth to attend. It's easy to get there though - head to Waterloo, tube to Euston and then it's less than 5 minutes walk to the bar.
The staff there are friendly and clearly have a passion for bartending. You meet another 10-15 attendees and get to know a bit about each other before kicking off. You get a booklet with photos and step by step guides for the classic cocktails that you learn but there's a lot of other useful information inside for your own reference including a library list. The staff demonstrate a variety of classic cocktails for you before getting you to prepare them yourself using proper ingredients behind the bar.
I dabble in cocktail making and I still learn a lot of useful refinement tips to my technique. Whether you go by yourself or do it as a couple this is a great event and after looking forward to it, I was not disappointed!"
