Not How It Reads
"Very disappointed with this item. From description it appears that within 10mins or so you have enough ice for your ice bucket or at very least your guests. After 10mins on a medium setting I had 12 small pieces of ice with a hole through the middle. These are not ice cubes but thin tubular about three quarters of an inch long. I left it running for 1.5hours and in that time only received one basket of ice, not enough for an ice bucket. I would assume that it also costs a fortune to run but I have not looked into this. I bought this to replace the bags of ice we all buy for parties etc and it just doesn't work on this volume. I would also suggest that it costs whole lot more to run than the £1 you pay for a bag of ice. So for me no I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone. Unfortunately I have been advised that I cannot return this item as not fit for purpose."

Drinkstuff says: We're sorry that you were disappointed with this ice maker Liz. The Ice Appliance Ice Maker is designed to take the stress out of having to travel to purchase bags of ice, and removes the need to store them in your freezer, saving a lot of time and money in the long run. This is a high-end domestic ice maker with an average out-put for a machine in its price range.
"The Ice Appliance Maker is a reliable product that makes a lot of ice cubes in a short space of time. Ideal for homes that have limited freezer space. It sits nicely on any worktop and you would hardly know it was there."
