"Don't underestimate the value of one of these mats. I make my cocktails at home and it's surprising how many drips come off the equipment. You also have melting ice trays etc to think about. Hence, using this matt allows me to do everything that I need to without causing a mess. It's a great size, allowing you to put things like your ice bucket on one corner, bottles on another, and still have space to place your shakers, strainers and spoons etc. It's a professional quality rubber too so everything stands on the mat without any wobbles etc. It's also thick and heavy enough to give a nice solid working surface. Cleaning it is easy, just rinse once you're finished with it (i.e. try to get any syrup spillages etc off it before it dries) and it will be ready for your next use."

"The home bar at the moment being a corner in a kitchen... get one of these and all the drips, spills and whatnot cease to matter (or at least are easier to clean up).
As well as two dual
25ml / 50ml jiggers, I have 2
boston shakers (one the
oversize mako tin, a french shaker and generally small vessels with lime juice, lemon juice and simple syrup - and I still have room to spare.
Sugars etc live behind this mat, to the right is a chopping board and knife, glasses full of strainers, spoons and Mexican elbows and I am constantly amazed at how small my home bar is!
