"This item is not the easiest device to use at first. It is small and fiddly and there was more than one mess made on occasion when we put it to use. Persevere with it though and a good result can be achieved for that perfect pousse cafe shot. Ideally it needs to be combined with tapor pourers
(again available at a reasonable price on the site) to allow good flow control with the liqueurs you wish to layer otherwise more than likely they will bleed into each other due to poor pour control.
It would also have been a good idea to include a chart that would allow customers to see which liquers float on top of each other rather than just simple recipes. The drinks listed are good for a while but then further research is needed to make adequate use of this device. Currently the only other device that offers this level of information with its product is the Brigitte Kittel book Lines and Colours that can be purchased with their CocktailMaster device (again another great item that does layering on a grander scale which is very well priced in a set on the site). So if you're wanting a good pousse cafe this little set with the cocktail master for larger creations is a great little combo! A regular part of our party arsenal now!"

"We always enjoy layered shots, like the B52 or the Terminator, right? And hardly ever drink them because they're difficult to pour, right? Wrong. This set will solve all of your layering problems.
Drop the float in the glass and pour away. Tried this over the weekend and the results are great, and much faster than pouring over the back of a spoon.
The only thing is I've not used pourers before, so they take a little getting used to. As does the fact that the floater makes the amount you've poured seem more than it actually is, so be a bit more generous than you think you need to be.
However, once you get the hang, the results are superb, until you get a bit too tipsy to care anymore..."

Need More Practice
"Seemed a great idea on the website but I clearly need more practice. Top spirit was always murky from the base drink... Also extremely fiddly for those of us that have larger fingers."

"In the fast paced world of drinking these little devices are a godsend especially in long shot glasses where it isn't possible to get spoons to the bottom of the glass. It is a must have for any barman who likes to make their drinks look good."

"I have not actually seen the product as I live in Spain and I have had it delivered to an address in England. But I have been very impressed with both the communications and speed of delivery."
