He has combined his creative energies with age-old tradition to create the Jaipur collection for Waterford Crystal. Named after the Indian city, the Jaipur Ice Bucket includes a pair of tongs and features open, cut-through patterns, capturing his Indian influences beautifully.

About the designer:
Michael Aram is an American born artist who works primarily in metal. After studying fine art and living as an artist in New York in the late 1980s, Aram took what would later be a life-altering trip to India where he discovered rich metalworking traditions. Inspired to work with craftsmen whose skills he felt were greatly untapped, Aram turned his creative energies towards craft based design, setting up a home and workshop in New Delhi. Celebrating his 20th Anniversary of living and working in India, internationally renowned designer, Michael Aram launches the Jaipur collection.
