Chrome Ice Crusher
"A good quality item. Crushed the ice nicely and without too much effort. Was a nice party piece as everybody wanted to have a go plus it looks good as well."
Karen Smith - Royston, Hertfordshire, 28th March
"I purchased this having read quite a lot of reviews on this and similar products. I am glad I went for this one as it does exactly what it should with little effort. It looks expensive and is sturdy enough to get the job done. The blades are nice and sharp and crush the ice well, giving a nice even consistency. I've found that doing a whole bunch of ice in one go and putting into a freezer bag means you can use a little or a lot whenever you need it. However when you have people over they seems to like to have a go themselves :-)"

"This does everything a small manual ice crusher could reasonably be expected to do. The handle is long enough to provide adequate leverage, the design is generally very sensible with enough space for a good quantity of both ice cubes and crushed ice. The removable tray works very well, as does the included scoop. If I were to offer any criticism it's that the ice sometimes gets stuck in the teeth of the crusher and has to be dislodged by moving the handle back and forth/applying additional force, but I imagine that's true of any such product. Its compact size also means you have to put a hand on top to steady it while crushing, but this also means you can easily store it. All round, an excellent product for the money."

"Despite being relatively cheap, this crusher does the job very well and looks great sitting next to my other kitchen equipment. Being made of metal, it had a very nice solid feel. Being quite light so very portable (great), but you definitely need to keep a firm hand on the top of it when turning the handle to crush the ice. This is possibly true of all ice crushers, but as it's the only one I've used I thought it worth mentioning.
Its ice crushing abilities are fine and it gives a nice even crush. The drawer can be a little fiddly to get in, but getting it out is straightforward. A great advantage of having a smallish tray is that you can put it into the freezer between cocktails, preserving the crushed ice for use later on.
Overall, a very pleasing purchase."

"Had a rather large cocktail party in September and bought this bad boy for the occasion. Was a brilliant idea cos it made my cocktails seem even more professional!! It hasn't even become one of those gadgets that gets lost at the back of a cupboard, we keep it out and have ice nightly with our soft drinks all the time. Very impressed indeed!!"

"Got my hubby making me mojitos after a holiday last year and they were never quite right - why because of the ice. Now we have the ice crusher they are perfect and he now thinks he's Tom Cruise and getting very adventurous with his cocktail making much to my delight."

"Perfect little ice crusher for the price. Sturdy and does the required job. Yes it is a little noisy but then it is crushing ice cubes, I doubt you could find a quiet one."

"Originally ignored this item as it was ??30, but then found it reduced to ??18 and ordered it. Delivery was quick and satisfactory."
Jenni Ball - Nottingham, 20th December '11
"Bought this for my husband's birthday as an impulse buy as was really struggling for ideas this year. We regularly make cocktails with Mojitos being the preferred. He was always moaning that crushing ice was a pain. No more with this gadget. Sturdy, good looking and easy to use, he is well chuffed!"

"I have used some cheap and cheerful ice crushers before and this one is by far better. It does a great job in a short amount of time, crushes the ice to the perfect size and is a bargain!

"Product is great."
Wilma Sloan - Bedfordshire, 8th May '11

"Excellent item just what I was looking for, crushes ice with ease."
Matthew Crew - Bristol, 22nd February '11
"The ice crusher does exactly what it is supposed to do and it looks good with the chrome casing. The inside is made of plastic and I think if you were too rough with it when crushing the ice cubes, it could be broken. I've used it several times since buying it and had no problems."
Kerry Davison - Northumberland, 13th February '11
"Hi - I ordered for Xmas a variety of party bar accessories and my fave of all has to be the Ice Crusher - looks retro in chrome and with the small ice shovel is a novelty in itself.
The ice is crushed really well without turning mushy and a must for all - great for mixing up cocktails and spirit and mixers etc."
Stephen Kitchen - Tottington, 4th January '11
"Not industrial strength, but then its not supposed to be. Perfect for the home kitchen and does exactly what it says on the box."

Looks Good But Doesn't Crush The Ice
"I am disappointed at this item as it doesn't crush the ice and have tried leaving the ice cubes out for a bit but still doesn't crush them very well."

"Excellent ice crusher, breaks up whole ice cubes with little effort or fuss for a professional cocktail. It also looks pretty slick. The body is made from metal so is very robust. The removal ice bucket and mini shovel make it a complete package that is very good value for money."
Edward Day - Stafford, 23rd August '10
"I bought this crusher to avoid the noise of an electric blender in my bar and it works amazingly well. Most cocktails taste a lot better with crushed ice in them."
Simon Earl - Maidstone, 26th July '10
"I really like this product because it works well and doesn't look out of place or tacky in our kitchen. Making cocktails is so much easier now :)"
Danielle - Stratford-upon-avono, 23rd June '10

Daniel Leeson - Manchester, 4th June '10
"Have been searching for ages for a decent Ice Crusher after my last one broke. This one turned out to be solidly built with steel and chrome finish. The ice loads easily and the ice bin collects a huge amount of ice and even has a little shovel load your glass. A good price for such a solidly constructed machine and it was delivered within two days of ordering, so I am very happy."
Mark Breen - Shepshed, Leicestershire, 21st August '09
"Not bad for the price, crushed ice nicely although it isn't as big as I thought. Handle broke at some point during the night, still usable but build quality should be better."
Martin Patient - London, 4th August '09
"Brilliant device for the perfect cocktail. The ice is better than the classic Osterizer!"
Martin Redman - Surrey, 22nd June '09
"Very reliable & crushes ice with easy and takes a matter of seconds. Breaks a block of ice into approx 10 pieces which is definitely good enough for me."
Alan Gow - Leyland, Lancashire, 3rd June '09
"Does the job. Produces crushed ice for cocktails by cranking a handle. It sometimes sticks but build quality good."
Jonathan Pollinger - Cheltenham, 18th May '09
"Fantastic buy! Glad I read the reviews and paid the extra, works a treat and ensured my new year started with a bang and a lot of cocktails!! Roll on the summer!"

"I'm a science technician and was so fed up of hitting my fingers with a hammer when I tried to crush ice for the little darlings experiments I treated my self to this. Well worth the money!"
