The Duralex Picardie Tumbler proves to be a timeless glass, offering both beauty and practicality. These tumblers have been used in French schools, cafes and homes since their conception in 1927. Still produced in France, the Picardie is used all over the world, from serving up water in American canteens to sipping tea in far flung Middle Eastern villages.

Described as "the ultimate drinking vessel created by man," the Duralex design and specification has remained virtually unchanged since Saint-Gobain introduced their patented glass tempering process to the Duralex company in 1939.

The tempered design means this glass is shock, chip and thermal resistant, dishwasher and microwave safe and is even stackable. Safe enough to be used by all the family, they will last much longer than standard glassware and if one does happen to smash, it will break down into small fragments.
