"A little hard to turn at times, but it doesn't seem like it will break. The lid might if held wrongly though.
Ice crushes to perfect size!
Cheap yet robust and stylish!"

"I thought I would try the ice crusher and didn't expect much as it was cheap. It is a solid build, bigger than I thought. And looks nice in a modern kitchen. It has one negative but it's not a deal breaker. The handle is threaded on to the crusher and you can wind the handle both ways to crush the ice as the ice can jam. When it jams clockwise the handle will unscrew.
Try a cocktail with crushed ice, you won't use cubes again ;-)"

"I've been looking for an ice crusher for months. Finally found this one and it has been fantastic.
Could not have asked for better."

"This ice crusher is an improvement over the smaller unit I had before as it has a larger crushing mechanism and container. Whilst it looks quite smart the base of the unit is smaller than the main body and doesn't provide adequate stability. The main reason is that is does not rubber grip on the bottom. It is almost impossible to crush ice without three hands as the force required to turn the handle and hold the top causes the unit to slip on the table. Some rubber strips or coating would help to keep the unit from falling over violently."

"I have only used the ice crusher once; it worked though I need to use smaller ice cubes. Excellent for the price, I didn't expect a heavy solid machine for £10.99."

"This ice crusher was absolutely perfect for my cocktail party. It crushed the ice great. I've recommended this to my friends. They enjoyed using it too."

"A great item which initially I thought was faulty as the ice cutters kept jamming. However the handle had not been fully engaged onto the screw threaded shaft. Once it was tightened up the crusher worked very well. Best not to overload and go slowly. Super end results though. Makes for a good novelty presentation a good price."
