The Ultimate Pint Glass is the result of combined research between international glassware manufacturer Arcoroc, the Design Council and the UK government in an effort to combat the 87,000 violent glass related incidents that occur every year in the UK, costing the NHS £2.7bn.

The first innovation in strengthening pint glasses for more than 50 years, the Ultimate Pint Glass utilises new Profile Plus technology to offer a fully tempered glass that is up to 5 times stronger than other glasses, and which features a high resistance to thermal and mechanical shock.The use of Arcoroc's new SFM System (Stress Fracture Management) ensures that any stress applied to the glass is shared equally around the entire glass. This reduced the chance of the glass being shattered for use as a weapon, and if broken with force, the entire glass will shatter into small, blunt fragments which completely rules out the option of use as a weapon.

This new innovation in glass strengthening techniques has been married with a classic ergonomic design for a comfortable hold, and Arcoroc's Head Booster nucleation that ensures your beer keeps its head for longer.
