By simply adding water and ice and sealing your drink of choice inside, the Handy Chiller uses it's patented cooling system and rotates the drink and works it's magic to obtain maximum chill in a matter of minutes!
With an easy-to-use display, all you have to do is press one of the 3 options ('Bottle', 'Can', or 'Wine') and the Handy Chiller will rotate the drink and sporadically pour the chilled water through the spout ensuring equal all over cooling.
40 times faster than a freezer and 90 times faster than a refrigerator, the Handy Chiller enables you to have cool drinks in time for your planned party. This versatile unit may also be used to warm babies bottles to a safe drinking temperate in two minutes.
The idea of a rapid beverage cooler was thought up in 1992 as Greg Loibl completed his undergraduate studies from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. To fulfill his chemical engineering masters thesis, Greg Loibl designed, built and tested a prototype device that proved a beverage in a standard 12 ounce aluminum can could be chilled from room temperature (25°C / 77°F) to drinking temperature (5°C / 40°F) in under 45 seconds!
