How To Make An Aperol Spritz

An Aperol Spritz looks fancy but it’s a surprisingly easy drink to make and is ideal for summer, whether you’re poolside, enjoying a BBQ with friends or looking for a refreshing post-dinner drink.

  1. Add the lime juice, gin, Aperol and Oleo Saccharum to the glass along with some ice and stir thoroughly to chill the ingredients. 
  2. Top up with tonic water and add more crushed ice to the glass. 
  3. Garnish with the orange and add a straw to serve.

  • Spritz glass
  • Stirring spoon
  • Spirit measure

Ingredients Needed

  • 25ml coconut rum
  • 25ml Aperol
  • 15ml ODK cherry puree
  • 75ml Mediterranean tonic water
  • Prosecco
  • Orange and mint for garnish


  1. Add the rum, Aperol, cherry puree to a glass and add your desired amount of tonic water, depending on the size of your glass.  
  2. Add ice and stir to combine.
  3. Top up with prosecco and garnish. Serve immediately.

Aperol Spritz Mocktail

This recipe is ideal for those who don’t want to drink – it’s alcohol-free but doesn’t lack any of the tastiness of the traditional recipe.

  1. Add the Not Gin, Monin Orange Spritz and ice to a glass and stir to combine and chill the ingredients. 
  2. Top up with more ice and tonic water, then garnish with the orange and mint. Serve immediately.
