Our success story so far

Our story started 40 years ago when our parent company Barmans Ltd started trading in pubwares.

Drinkstuff Timeline Progress

1998: We launched Drinkstuff with the unique idea of supplying home users as well as trade venues with pub and bar related items to both domestic and trade users. Drinkstuff was one of the first companies to take advantage of the Internet, years before many big players today!

2011: We launched our own brand, bar@drinkstuff, which now consists of over 500 diverse products including, glassware, bar equipment and mini fridges. The bar@drinkstuff line of products continues to expand, with innovative new products regularly being sourced and added to the range at some of the best prices on the market.

2012: To accommodate our rapidly expanding teams, structural changes were made to the Drinkstuff Head Office and Warehouse building in Melbourn, Hertfordshire. Changes included a bigger office space and a new packing room to meet the demand of parcels being dispatched.

2015: In one of most significant milestones, and to meet the unprecedented growth of Drinkstuff, we splashed out and purchased a huge distribution centre in Mildenhall, Suffolk. It boasts an impressive 85,500 sq ft! Our annual turnover for 2015/16 peaked at £10 million, giving us the best year in the company's history. This has ensured that we can look ahead at the coming year with excitement at further expansion.

2017: We have relaunched our brand with strengthened and bolder values, modernised our visuals and refocused our vision to provide businesses with the inspirational products and service they need to give their venues impact. We are currently at the most exciting growth and development period in our 40 years of trading! It's the perfect time to come and join us to share in our success.

2018: Further to our purchase of the Mildenhall Distribution Centre, we moved all warehouse and dispatch operations to the new site. Our Melbourn office expanded into our old warehouse with a bright and airy open-plan space, complete with Drinkstuff colour scheme and branding throughout. And that's not all! - Our annual turnover reached a new high exceeding £12.3 million!
