How to make Limoncello


1 Litre of Vodka
1 litre of Water
700g of Sugar
7 Lemons


Peel the lemons using a speed peeler and place the zest in a large glass storage jar
Fill the jar with vodka and let it sit for 7 days
Before the seven days are finish you will need to create a sugar syrup to do this place the water into a saucepan and bring to the boil
Add the suger to the boiling water and gently stir until it’s completely dissolved
Set aside and allow to cool.
Once cool store in a bottle
After 7 days remove the lemon peel from the vodka and strain the vodka using a square of muslin and a funnel or a fine mesh strainer
Add the sugar syrup to the vodka and gently stir
The best way to store your Limoncello is in an airtight glass bottle
