Low-Calorie Cocktails: Strawberry Lime Daiquiri

Daiquiris just got a new makeover with this trendy, lighter alternative

Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri (4 to 6 drinks) {1 cup white rum, 3 cups fresh strawberries,(roughly chopped), 1/4 cup lime juice Ice cubes, as needed*,} In a blender combine the rum, strawberries, fresh squeezed lime juice and one cup of ice. Pulse to evenly blend. *Depending how thick you want your frozen daiquiri you can add as much or as little ice. Start with one cup. Then if you prefer it a little more slushy add more ice, a 1/2 cup at a time and pulse to blend to your desired consistency.:

Ingredients:

1 Shot of Simple Syrup
1 Shot of White Rum
2 Tablespoons of Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
Small Handful of Frozen Strawberries
½ Cup of Ice Strawberry Slice, for garnish

Method:

In a blender, add the simple syrup, white rum, lime juice and frozen strawberries
Finally, add the ice
Blend until liquefied and mixed
Pour into a Tumbler glass
Garnish with a strawberry slice and serve
