Ah, the Negroni Sbagliato or the messed up Negroni, the perfect riff for day two of Negroni Week! Said to have been the result of a busy bartender using sparkling wine instead of gin, we’re pretty sure this is the definition of a ‘happy accident’. Campari, sweet vermouth and prosecco, perfect! Lightly stir over ice and garnish with some orange peel. The negroni sbagliato is a lighter version of the negroni but still features the signature bitterness found in the original.
- Campari Bitter
- Martini Rosso Vermouth
- Prosecco or Spumante
- Measure out 30ml of the Campari and the Sweet Vermouth pour into an ice-filled glass
- Top up with 60ml of prosseco
- Lightly stir to combine so as to not lose the fizz
- Garnish with orange peel
