❄️How To Make A Spiked Mexican Hot Chocolate❄️

A Spiked Mexican Hot Chocolate is perfect for warming up on cold winter nights, nothing can beat the warming feeling of a spicy Spiked Mexican Hot Chocolate!

Ingredients :

100g of Bittersweet Chocolate
50ml of Tequila
1 Cinnamon Stick
50ml of Water
200ml of Milk
100ml of Cream
115g Brown Sugar
¼ Tsp of Chili Powder
¼ Tbsp Light Brown Sugar
Pinch of Nutmeg
Optional: Whipped Cream, to serve

Method:
In a saucepan on medium heat, melt the Chocolate together with the Water and a Cinnamon Stick
Once melted, start slowly adding the Cream, Milk, Sugar, Nutmeg and Chilli Powder Stir thoroughly until all is combined

Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer until it thickens (approx. 5 minutes)

Add milk to taste and serve with a whipped cream garnish
