What’s On: London Cocktail Week 2017

It’s that time of year again, and I don’t mean Autumn. It’s London Cocktail Week! This seven-day festival takes place in London and celebrates the stunning London cocktail scene. Every October, London Cocktail Week sees discounted cocktails and exclusive offers in over 250 bars, and there is even a dedicated Cocktail Village in Old Spitalfields Market. The best way to get involved is by getting your hands on a LCW Digital Pass.

The Digital Pass

So you can get the Digital Pass here and you activate it via the DrinkUp.London App. The Pass gets you access to bespoke £6 cocktails in participating bars for all 7 days. Without it, you won’t get to enjoy London Cocktail Week properly! Once you have your digital pass, you’ll need the app, and the app holds all the information you’ll need. You can look up signature drinks, or find the nearest bar. And with a simple flash of your phone, you’ll get that £6 cocktail I mentioned earlier – bargain right?! Just remember to charge your phone! Or better yet bring a portable charger!

The Cocktail Village

Possibly one of the best bits of London Cocktail Week 2017 is the Village. Taking place in the Old Spitalfields Market, the Village is the heart of London Cocktail Week. Essentially it’s a maze of pop-up cocktail bars, food vendors, experiences, bartenders, £6 signature cocktails, and even the chance to sample new products. To get into the Village you will need to buy an advanced ticket, so when you grab your Digital Pass make sure you get a ticket to the village as well.

You do not want to miss the events this year. With events like a Sake Masterclass, the Schweppes Alchemy Bar, a Rooftop Party and How To Pimp Your G&T this year is going to be tough to beat. For more information on all the events being held this week check out the DrinkUp.London website.

London Cocktail Week starts on Monday the 2nd of October and finishes on Sunday the 8th. If you’re not going to make it this year, or fancy impressing your friends and family by hosting your own cocktail night, check out drinkstuff.com for all your cocktail tools and equipment.
