National Daiquiri Day

The Daiquiri… quite notably a classic part of every cocktail night, this delicious drink is usually enjoyed frozen like a slushie and packed with a fruity punch! With the night usually ending up like the gif below, a Daiquiri cocktail is guaranteed to put a truly goofy grin on anyone’s face.

Classic Daiquiri

  • Servings: 1
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • 50ml of White Rum
  • 4 tsp of Simple Syrup
  • Lime wedge, for garnish

Directions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to an ice filled cocktail shaker
  2. Shake until the cocktail shaker is cold to the touch
  3. Strain into a glass
  4. Garnish with a wedge of lime
  5. To change this recipe into a Hemingway Daiquiri, simply add 10ml of Cherry Liqueur and 25ml of Grapefruit Juice
  6. For a classic Daiquiri, we recommend serving it in our City Champagne Coupe Glasses

Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri

  • Servings: 1
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • 50ml of White Rum
  • 25ml of Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp of Simple Syrup
  • 7 large fresh Strawberries
  • Crushed Ice

Directions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender filled with crushed ice
  2. Blend until smooth and combined
  3. Pour into a tall cocktail glass
  4. Garnish with a Strawberry
  5. Optional: For extra flavour, add 2 tsp of Strawberry Syrup
  6. To make a Banana Daiquiri, replace the Strawberries with a whole Banana and add 2 tsp of Banana Syrup

Frozen Mango Daiquiri

  • Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 50ml of White Rum
  • 175g of diced Mango
  • 25ml of Lime Juice
  • 3 tsp of Triple Sec
  • 2 tsp of Sugar
  • Crushed Ice
  • A single Cherry and slice of Lime, for garnish

Directions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender filled with crushed ice
  2. Blend until smooth and combined
  3. Pour into a tall cocktail glass
  4. Garnish with a fresh Cherry and a slice of Lime
  5. Optional: For extra flavour, add 2 tsp of Mango Syrup
