On the 30th April 2017, will be closing its virtual doors. has been online for 17 years and was one of the first catering supplies companies to bring ordering online. The website has welcomed over 60,000 customers and processed nearly 400,000 orders. has run in parallel to under the parent company, Barmans Ltd: A family business since 1977. provided barware, tableware and catering equipment to the trade. leant more towards home users, but over the years has broadened its focus to encompass trade customers too. This shift in customer base has merged the boundary between and which has confused many of our customers over the years.

Running a successful and growing online shop is a challenging task. and drinkstuff have been run independently, but drinkstuff has become the breadwinner and is rapidly growing. We want to focus on making drinkstuff the leading destination for barware and tableware. We want drinkstuff to become a prime resource that inspires our customers to present their food and drink in more creative ways. This means that must close. We want a single, clear brand in which to invest all our efforts.

We'll be taking some of the features of and incorporating them into drinkstuff. We have some exciting plans for drinkstuff over the coming months and we would like to invite all our previous customers to enjoy the benefits of becoming a drinkstuff customer.

To demonstrate our commitment to expansion and growth, we recently invested in a large 90,000 sq. ft. Distribution Centre in Mildenhall. This enables us to offer you the products you need quickly and in the high volumes that you require. Our Head Office and Showroom is based near Royston in North Hertfordshire.

What will happen to

On the 30th April 2017, the checkout will be deactivated and the search facility removed. The website will remain active for several weeks as we redirect links to and migrate the content across. From this date, we will not be accepting any further orders through

How can I access my past order history and invoices?

You can continue to access your account on until the end of July 2017. After this date, our Customer Support and Business Sales Teams will be on hand to assist you. Please contact them for assistance.

I have trade discounts associated to my account. Will these be transferred across to drinkstuff?

Yes. Your Business Account Manager will do this for you. Please contact us to get your account migrated across to Drinkstuff.
