A brandy snifter is a type of brandy glass and is also known as a balloon glass. A typical brandy snifter is made from glass and features a short stem with a wide, globe shaped bowl. The shape of the bowl is designed for swirling and warming the spirit to release the aroma. A typical brandy snifter will hold between 5oz and 25oz.
