A cap catcher is a small bin which is usually wall or shelf mountable and incorporates a bottle opener. Most commonly placed behind the bar, it allows bartenders to open bottles while the bottle top falls into the catcher bin. This helps speed up the process of serving customers and prevent staff slipping on discarded bottle tops.
