A drip tray is a two part tray made from metal or plastic with a perforated top and a liquid collection tray underneath. It is most commonly placed on the front bar top for placing freshly poured drinks to help prevent spill and condensation marks on the bar top and can be easily cleaned after use. It may also be used at the bar when pouring pints or preparing drinks with spirits.
