A hiball glass (also spelt highball) is type of tumbler with a tall, slim straight sided design and usually holds between 8 and 17oz. It is primarily designed for ice based drinks, such as soft drinks and cocktails, but may also be used for serving beer and cider. Slimmer and taller variants of the hiball glass include the Collins glass and the chimney glass.
