Glossary of Terms

A shooter is a mixed drink which is similar to a shot, but is made from two or more spirits instead of one. A shooter may also contain a non-alcoholic ingredient. They are also served in a shot glass with a small capacity (usually 25-100ml) and are drunk quickly rather than sipped. A shooter may be shaken, blended, layered or simply poured.
