A stemless wine glass (also known as a wine tumbler) is either a red or white wine glass bowl, but with a flattened base instead of the traditional stem. A stemless wine glass has no particular advantage over a stemmed wine glass, but is popular with casual dining. A stemless wine glass may also be used as a water glass, as they match the shape of a stemmed wine glass.
