Glossary of Terms

Stemware refers to a piece of glassware with a stemmed bowl. A stem offers an elegant look, but was primarily designed so that the drinker doesn't touch the bowl of the glass and warm the drink with their hand. Common stemware pieces include wine glasses, champagne glasses, brandy glasses and cocktail glasses.
