All new models of Lay Z Spa are supplied with a standard UK 3-pin plug, and can be plugged in to a standard UK socket. The Lay Z Spa pump has an in-built RCD (Residual Current Device) for safety purposes, however we would recommend plugging your spa in to an external socket with RCD protection for maximum safety precaution.
2008 - To address issues with the pump operation on the Series 1, the heater and the massage system can no longer run at the same time. If you switch the heater on, the massage system will automatically turn off and vice versa. This change has been made by Bestway to better improve the running operation of the pump.
2010 - For the Premium Series 3 Lay Z Spa, there have been improvements in the internal construction of the pump to address any issues found in previous Lay Z Spa pumps.
2011 - The 2011 model Lay Z Spa now includes clips to seal the lid which replaces the more difficult to use zip system found on the previous model.
2012 - Bestway's 2012 Lay Z Spa Premium Series 4 has taken the filter out of the pump/filter, removing the need to manually purge the pump before use. The filter is now attached on the inside of the Lay Z Spa.
A new rigid wall Lay Z Spa model was issued, called the Lay Z Spa Platinum, offering the ease of use of the classic Lay Z Spa, but with a greater ability to build the spa in to decking.
2012/13 - The 2013 Lay Z Spa Premium Series 4 has been given a new name, the Lay Z Spa Vegas, while retaining all of the successful elements of the 2012 Premium model.
The Lay Z Spa Platinum has been renamed the Lay Z Spa Monaco, and has been given a small facelift with a new cool blue colouring.
2014 - The Lay Z Spa Vegas and Monaco remain the same, while the new for 2014 Lay Z Spa Miami introduces a smaller size spa, suitable for 2 to 4 people while maintaining all the features of the Lay Z Spa Vegas.
2015 - New for 2015, Bestway add the Lay Z Spa Palm Springs for 4 to 6 people, with a 120 air-jet massage (the other models feature 80), and an additional ground mat for better insulation and to help protect the base of the spa. The Lay Z Spa Vegas, Monaco and Miami remain the same.
2016 - 2016 welcomes new models to the Bestway family with the Lay Z Spa Paris for 4 to 6 people, with a new LED mood lighting, and the same ground mat introduced in 2015.
The Lay Z Spa Palm Springs HydroJet introduces a new pump with new technology - the HydroJet system that allows greater control over the massage qualities of the spa, and a new ClearSoft water maintenance system that removes the need for chlorine granules.
The Lay Z Spa Vegas, Monaco, Miami and Palm Springs remain the same.

Yes, you would not want it any hotter than this.
It is recommended the filters are changed every 3 days. Make sure to clean the filter after each use.
If looked after, your Lay Z Spa should last for years.

The filter unit doubles as a pump and you can inflate all 5 sections of your spa in around 10 minutes.
A soft damp sponge will clean general dirt. Once emptied, warm soapy water will remove any other deposits.

The whole hot tub is protected with a tough outer shell which will stop most objects from piercing the unit. The 2015 model, the Lay Z Spa Palm Springs includes an additional ground mat for extra protection.
It is recommended changing the water every 3 days. Always remember to use the appropriate water chemicals to maintain your water quality every day.

You can use it indoors but we do not recommend this due to the moisture from the hot water.
Yes, however we do not recommend they are used by babies under 6 months old. All children should be supervised by an adult and the water temperature should be monitored by an adult for younger children.
The spa will withstand general use and light climbing in and out of it.
This would depend mainly on the amount of use, but on average once every 10 days after use of the spa.
You can use the spa without chemicals but you would need to change the water more regularly. You would have to check with your doctor to see if the chemicals would affect them.
Please note however, the chemicals are very similar to those used in public swimming pools.
The jets are powerful enough to create a nice sensation in the tub but not powerful enough to hurt you.

Empty the water, dry, deflate then pack away in the original box (make sure it is dry though as you do not want a mouldy tub when you unpack it again).
