Poor Cloth
"I have had a very similar table before which actually had baize cloth (as a poker table should have). The material on this table top was just a nylon green cloth.... but then it was cheap so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised."

Excellent For The Price!
"This is a great table for the price and decent quality considering. There was a bit of glue on the top of the table near the edge and fold. A very minor cosmetic imperfection, however.
One thing to note is that the edge of each octagon (i.e. the space for each player) isn't that big. It's not that it's uncomfortable to sit round, although you are quite close to your fellow players. It's more that if you all have drinks on the table there's a very narrow space in which to deal through. As a result and fairly inevitably, as the evening progressed someone knocked a drink on the floor. Not a huge problem as it was lager, just don't let anyone drink red wine!
One of the other things about this table is that it only folds in half. I believe this gives it an advantage over other tables of this type which fold in four, in that it's more durable (less places for it to break) and sits flatter even after wear. The downside is it's not as compact folded away, or as easy to transport, but easy enough to leave it behind the sofa if it's not going anywhere.
As a review mentioned below, the handles are very long and thin.
Overall, definitely worth the money and great service and delivery as well."

Deluxe Octagonal Poker Table Top
"Great product, great delivery, was told 2-3 days delivery got it in 2. Excellent value for money, bought it for £20. Table is thicker than I expected. The chip holders hold an adequate amount of chips and the drinks holders are a good size. The carry bag it comes with is o.k. but just that. I can imagine after a few months it will have a few tears in it as it is made of really thin material and the carry handles are way too long, I've had to have them shortened as it it was causing the bag to scuff the floor when carrying. I would highly recommend this product."

Learning live play
"After playing in a casino, I decided to buy some equipment for home to practice live play. I have brought Kem cards, nice weighted chips and this table top, from Drinkstuff, and it makes the game feel more realistic. I found getting the top into the bag a bit tight, it may give over time. The prices on this site are fair and the service is very good."

Argos's sale confusion
"I really want to get one, but Argos was selling this exact table for literally five pounds. I stupidly didn't get it at the time, then when I went back it was out of stock and then the sale ended. I can't find this table anywhere for a properly reasonable price, it's almost stupid. (And no they weren't just selling the bag for a fiver, I checked on the site before I went back and it was this tabletop)."

For Argos to achieve such a low retail price, we can only guess that either the quality is lower or they have chosen to discontinue this line and have set a clearance price. "Good quality tables, though the prices seem to go up and down like a yo-yo. I bought mine for 19.99 each now they are 29.99. I was looking to by one of the proper fold up tables, but they have increased from 89.99 last month to 119.99 this month. Wont bother now!
