Tourists, it seems, have the general impression of English pubs as smoke-filled old taverns, where smelly locals grunt monosyllabically at each other whilst cradling filthy pints of warm beer. It is a shame that such an impression of the fine old British Boozer continues to perpetuate, especially given that things have now changed – warm beer is very rarely now served!

However, for those of us who continue to have the misfortune of drinking room-temperature brew, there is now a solution! This tough, clear acrylic Frosty Mug from bar@drinkstuff incorporates an internal bag which is filled with a freezable liquid. A couple of hours in the freezer and this mug can handle even the most revolting of lukewarm beers, chilling your drink a few precious degrees, or keeping your already-cold, fridge-fresh lager at the perfect temperature.

No longer must the masses suffer the ignominy of serving their guests deliciously chilled beers, only for the sun to do its evil work and render these perfectly-chilled pints curdled and undrinkable! Get the Frosty Mug, and never drink a warm beer again!

Please Note: The Frosty Mugs are boxed individually.

Please Note: When freezing, ensure the mug is placed in the freezer upside down.

Customer Reviews
Frosty mug
"Have used for about a week now and quite effective at cooling drinks down, and beats mucking around with ice cubes. Could be better designed though, the ice cylinder that forms around the liquid container tends to clank around every time you tip the mug up for a swig. Do freeze upside down as per instructions, the freezing liquid is sealed in a wedge shaped chamber and needs to expand into the wide end of the wedge when it freezes, else would probably end up cracking."
Alan - UK, 17th July '19
Good size and price mug
"Best price I found, buying in pairs. The volume is enough for most bottled beers etc. The rim comes down to a thin edge, better to drink from than some others (I was replacing some old ones that finally cracked after many years, these things don't last forever, the plastic eventually gives to the temperature changes). Good size handle. Not much else you can say about a frosty mug, really. Delivery was fast."
Candida - Cornwall, 2nd July '17
"Good for a hot day! Keeps cold for a few hours!"
Audrey - Leicester, 8th May '13
Very Good Service
"I ordered two and one had a slight mark on it, the customer service was brilliant and they sent me a replacement within days, very happy with the product."
Emma - Cornwall, 2nd March '13
"The cool mugs are all you said they would be.
On a hot night when filled at midnight they would still be cool at 4am. Though the first couple of hours the drink stayed very cold."
Marc - Surrey, 12th July '10
Frosty Mug... cool gift!
"My dad was well impressed with the Frosty Mug, a great gift for the beer drinker, or a soft-drink drinker as my little brother found out. It's an ingenious product and well made; I was a little worried that it would be a bit flimsy what with the price n'all, but it's solid and the value for money is excellent. It froze up in just under an hour and a half and remained 'frosty' for a least two tins. Much better than putting a standard glass in the freezer (and hoping it doesn't smash!) Now if only I could find something to placate mum for such a good price! 10 out of 10 - a very highly recommended product!"
Steven - London, UK, 5th January '10
"Excellent idea this is just pop the mug in the freezer and your drink stays cool so much longer"
amy murray - york, 15th November '07
"I had compared prices on other sites before finding that Drinkstuff had easily the best price, when you tkae delivery into account. The mugs are excellent (I bought a 2 pack) and do exactly what they say - keep your drink cold or cool it down for you if it isn't cold already. Ordering was easy and the delivery was much faster than I expected."
James B - London, 27th August '07
"I found the mugs quite stylish, (if made of a plastic like substance).
They do keep yoru drink cool. However, as advertised the condensation is there and there's quite alot of it. I ordered two mugs and it's on both.
They're handy and my dad and I love them but the condensation makes yours hands quite wet.
Nice in the summer sunshie but not so much in front of the TV in the living room.
drinkstuff says: Barry, lets hope we get some more summer sunshine so we can all enjoy our cold drinks outside."
Barry Toner - N Ireland, 3rd July '07
"I love these mugs! Use them all the time. Only one problem, though: you should not expect to be able to keep them for more than 12-15 months. Then they start leaking or the bottom simply drops out. However, one way to prolong their life a bit is to place them bottom-up in the freezer. Don't know why but it seems to work. Greetings from a very frequent user :-)"
Louis Hersom - Brussels, 4th April '07
"Fantastic effect. Just add beer and you have a party goin' on."
Michael Budolfsen - Denmark, 11th March '07
"Great Mugs, Work brilliantly. 2 days from buying them to having them in my hand, Would buy again !!"
Ian - Preston, 1st January '07
"Fantastic for cooling beer but doesn't quite hold a pint. Better as a novelty item but that is what it was bought for. 9 out of 10"
Mel - Nottingham, 10th July '06
"These mugs are excellent. I gave them to my beer-loving friend as he always complains about warm beer. I haven't heard a complaint since! Would recommend to anyone, great for the summer!"
Kate - Manchester, 10th February '06
"every beer drinkers dream, ice cold for at least an hour."
Chris - somewhere, 3rd September '03
