The ScandiPhone

This unique upright phone was introduced in Europe in the mid 1950's. Smaller and lighter than anything available at the time, its unusual one piece design was a fine example of form and function in harmony.

The push button version was introduced in 1967. In 1973 the Phone was selected to be part of the New York Museum of Modern Art's Collection, in recognition of its significance as a piece of good design in the 20th Century.

The ScandiPhone recreates this design perfectly for you to bring a touch of the excitement of the 1950's into your home! Simply plug it in and it's ready to use!

On the base of the ScandiPhone is a large red button, that when depressed hangs up the receiver. When the phone is left stood on it's base the phone is ready to take a call, then when it rings just lift up the phone and the button will release, taking the call.
Make sure you don't put the ScandiPhone down on it's base when you are in the middle of a call (if you pop to get a pen & paper etc) or you will accidentally hang up!
