Where Can I Buy The Kegs?
"I have just purchased this item, I am waiting for it to arrive.
I am not sure where to buy the kegs and it is a present so I would like to give the keg and the beer machine together, can you advise me?"
Sophie King - London, 24th November '11
Drinkstuff says: Hi Sophie, if you click on the Further Info section of the Chambrer Beer Dispenser product page we list some options for suitable kegs and places to purchase them. The Chambrer accepts 5ltr kegs which should be available from good off licences.
Amazing
"Amazing product. I have looked for this product on many websites and the cheapest option was this one for a fantastic product. Just amazing, looking brilliant on my home bar. Since, lots of friends asked me for this website to order for them as well. My only problem is to find the replacement keg as all stores I have been to don't have it. Wanna know if you can help me with a link or how to get some. Thanks."
Patrick - London, 16th August '11
Drinkstuff says: Many thanks for your review Patrick. We have found that larger supermarkets will stock the 5ltr Heineken keg which is a perfect fit for the Chambrer Beer Dispenser.
A good source of 5ltr mini kegs is
Beer4Home, which includes various brands of ale.
Chambrer Draft Beer Dispenser
"Great product, quick delivery. I was a bit worried about getting the kegs but found them at Sainsbury's, Tesco's and Makro as well as a couple of online sites. Quick tip, shake the Heineken kegs gently and if you hear a rattle don't buy as it will just come out as pint of head, something to do with them being pressurised."

Drinkstuff says: Many thanks for your tips Neil. As a thank you we've added 5 points to your drinkstuff account which is equivalent to £5 off your next order.
Beer Chambrer BD208
"After sampling a beer from one of these machines at a friend's house, I returned home and ordered myself a machine.
What a joy to be able to have 'beer on tap' conveniently stored and at a cooled temperature - magnificent - thank you Chambrer."

Not as Good as I Expected
"Bought this to give as a present to my brother. We set it up with a Heineken pressurised keg, but only foam came out. After several tries and a couple of other kegs the best we managed is half beer half foam. I don't think we are doing anything wrong, because we are following the instruction to the point... it shouldn't be this complicated."

Good Product Would Recommend...
"The beer dispenser is a good product, keeps the beer chilled and is easy to use. When using pressurized kegs care needs to be taken selecting the keg from the super market, if the CO2 cartridge inside the keg is loose you get a lot of foam from the tap.
Pouring pints is easy, the slower you pour, the less foam is present. The beer nozzle is not chrome but plastic, this does not make any difference.
Over all a good product and a must in any home bar!"

Beer Cooler
"Fab item, bought for boyfriend's birthday, best prezzie ever."

Chambrer Beer Cooler
"Fast delivery, but having problems locating mini kegs except for the Heineken type, CO2 cylinders do not come with it nor does a keg. Therefore before testing you will require to purchase a keg and CO2 cylinder."
Andrew James - Hanley, 30th April '10
Drinkstuff says: Many thanks for your comments Andrew. The 'Further Info' tab on the Chambrer page provides a link to
Beer4Home, who offer a variety of beer kegs.
A CO
2 cartridge is only needed for a non-pressurised keg - we recommend the Heineken kegs as these are pressurised so do not require the additional purchase of a CO
2 cartridge.
Chambrer Beer Dispenser
"I ordered this on Sunday 20th Dec and received it on Tuesday 22nd. In a week of countrywide blizzards this was great service. The dispenser tap is very easy to attach to a keg and 5ltr mini kegs of Heineken are readily available. A quick google search for mini casks came back with almost twenty micro brewers in Scotland who sell their ales in 5ltr kegs. I purchased 16g co2 cartridges from another supplier to enable their use. Thank you."

"The dispenser is great but you can't get a replacement keg anywhere so if you buy with the keg included, make it last."
Eoin Banahan - Aylesford, Kent, 24th November '09
Drinkstuff says: Thank you for your comments Eoin. Heineken kegs can now be purchased directly from drinkstuff -
Buy a Heineken Keg. Alternatively, try
Beer4Home for rarer beers. You can also find the Heineken keg at most major supermarkets.
