Perfect Starting Table

"I bought this table because my friends and I started playing poker quite regular now, and I'm very happy with it.
For the price, it's spot on. I was worried it might have been a bit flimsy as I was resting on a chest of drawers rather than on a table, but it's base is made from 9mm plywood and it's got a decent weight to it, which meant everything didn't go flying went the side was lent on.
The only reason I have scored it 4 out of 5 is because it would be better made with speed cloth, but it's not essential. And could have done to have a rubber base to make it a bit more sturdy (kept sliding on drawers)
But for it's purpose I can't fault it other than that.
If you want a poker table top of this shape and don't want to spend too much, get this.

Long-use-review!

"Our home game is just coming up to its third birthday, and we've been using this tabletop since day 1. It's just coming to the end of its life now (the felt is starting to give way around the fold), so I thought a "long-term use" review might be useful for prospective buyers.

As you can tell by the age ours has got to, this is a good quality product - although it has got rather more expensive since ours was bought. The felt stands up well to clumsy drink-spillers, crisp crumbs and all the other stuff it gets abused with as the evening/alcohol consumption wears on. It's a great compromise option for most people, who will be able to find room to store it but haven't got the space for a purpose-made poker table. Sits well on a standard size dining table, and is heavy enough not to shift even if it's not a perfect fit.

The only quibble is the drinks/chip holders. The drinks spaces aren't deep enough to prevent glasses being knocked over, and the chip holders just take up space where most players would rather stack and riffle their chips! Each to their own though, and it is only a minor irritation - but since we're now in the market for a replacement, I'd love to see Drinkstuff offer this table without the plastic inserts.

Overall - a good value buy that will last a regular home game for several years."

Good, but over-priced

"Did its job. Seemed to withstand drinks and burns. £40-ish quid (with delivery) is a bit much though, for what is essentially a bit of wood with some green felt. Bit cheap feeling. Would only buy again in an emergency."

Excellent playing surface that adapted really well to my dining room table. The smooth felt really helps in the cards glide in a suave casino style way. And the markings are basic, which is good as the table can be used for both poker and blackjack.

It was a perfect size for my table and seated 8 players comfortably. There was also adequate chip space. Also folds up easily to be packed away without trouble, which turned out handy after a long game of poker, you don't need a labourious fuss of folding the table away.

Despite a long wait, I'm glad I bought the table as it is certainly a good buy for the money, the quality was top notch as was the size and storage of the table. If you are going to take a gamble on buying a table, go 'all in' on this one!"

"This has to be the best buy for poker tables. Firstly it folds away so it doesn't take up alot of space making it easy to transport. It makes a huge difference when playing as you don't have chips piled up all over the table as it has chip and cup holders and the cards slide across the felt nicely without flipping over(also when your drunk mates spill drinks its easy to clean but if a stain doesn't come out you can turn the table over as the chip and cup holders are removable and reversible). "I must admit that this is the most competitively priced poker table available and believe me I had searched everywhere. The table is a good weight and is much more spacious when seating 8 than the hexagonal type table covers. Generally for what you are getting it is good VFM. However, I do have a few gripes; the green baize cloth had pulled away from the edges when I received it and was creased quite badly in the middle, there was also a tear in the baize on the edge at the corner. I couldn't be annoyed with the hassle of trying to send it back and I don't think my drunken mates would notice any of the imperfections. At the end of the day I will get plenty of mileage out of it and had the table paid off after my first poker night."
