A cocktail stick, also known as a tooth pick, is a short cylindrical stick, usually made from wood or plastic and is pointed at both ends. Cocktail sticks are most commonly used for skewering cocktail fruit or pickles (such as cherries or olives) and resting in or over the glass. Other uses for cocktail sticks include serving bite size buffet food at parties.
