When it comes to autumnal and winter flavours, we start to think about Spices. Whether its in the forma of Mulled Wine or Mulled Cider in the Winter. Or Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice in the Autumn. They are just the warm comforting flavours that give you a cuddle inside!
Well Monin have introduced another flavour that become an instant favourite with our in house YouTube creator and Bartender, Steve the Barman.
"Winter Spice Syrup is one of my all time favourite flavours from Monin. It combines Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg and Clove with Chilli, which not only makes it fantastic in the Winter, but a great "Tiki" Syrup all year round. So Monin kind of combined the Winter Spice Syrup with Red Berries... WOW. Yeah it's delicious!"
As Steve says, what the Monin Spiced Red Berries Syrup is, is a blend of Ginger, Clove and Cinnamon, with Raspberries, Redcurrants, Blueberries and Blackcurrants. The obvious use case for this is going to be a very easy Mulled Wine. Alcoholic or Mocktail. It's deep enough in flavour to hold up with just Hot Water. But obviously you can get more creative than that.
