ODK Creamy - What is it and how do you use it?

Being honest, I'd never fully comprehended what the ODK Creamy Range is. All's I knew was they weren't exactly Cream! I've always viewed them as Sauces.

And being even more honest, I would still actually call these Sauces 😇

HOWEVER, they are a different type of sauce, because they are LIGHTER!

Let me explain...

Many sauces I've encountered during my career are pretty heavy. While they may sit on top of Whipped Cream - or in my case, my 99 with a Flake...which now inexplicably costs 4x more than 99p these days, but that's another story! - They don't sit on top of Milk, or thinner Cocktails.

So while I do see why ODK named these "Creamy", I still think its slightly misleading to anyone scrolling past on websites like ours.

I would personally call these "LIGHT DECORATIVE SAUCES", although I will admit, that title seems drastically less catchy to potential customers.

So, HOW ARE THESE A BARISTA's SECRET WEAPON?!

Well these little beauties will definitely make your Coffees stand out from your competition!

🧐 Think Frappes garnished up instead of a plain Whip
🧐 Think maybe White Chocolate drizzled on an Iced Mocha
🧐 Think a Caramel laced Cortado!

Possibilities are endless!

But Barists's don't get all the Fun.

Look, I'm a Bartender. I don't do pretty patterns on Coffee. 

BUT, if I did...

This stuff would make pretty cool patterns on top of your Drinks! 

I mentioned that I thought the ODK Creamy range was more akin to a "light decorative sauce" than "Cream", so I wanted to demonstrate... 

kind of...

Admittedly, perhaps I should've given this to one of the 50+ Barista's I know, to draw some kind of nice pattern to make you stop scrolling and go WOW. 

BUT I actually think I have done this product justice. Because I carefully demonstrate that even if you squirt a great huge blob of "Creamy" on top of your frothy Milk, it won't sink like a Traditional Sauce Topping! It'll sit there long enough to reach the customer in perfect condition...AND then leave a little splodge on the tip of their nose after they take a first sip of their drink!

Look, I know (proper geeky career) Barista's are probably shaking their heads in disgust at the thought of this. Especially my splodge. Afterall, they've trained for years to perfect their swans...much like my Shamrock abilities on a Guinness (you never lose it!)

BUT, in a world where you have to stand out against your competition, drawing Swans and god knows what, is a bit 2022. ODK Vanilla Creamy on a Mochaccino is totally 2025! 👊😇
